Very pleased with the overall quality and look of this arched window mirror. However the design of the fixing brackets left much to be desired. They consisted of three slot holes welded to the frame - 2 at the base and one at the apex. At nearly 17kg the mirror required heavy duty wall screws - however the size of the hole over which one had to pass the screw head through precluded all but unsuitably small screws. With the tolerances that were left to one it meant fixing 3 screws to within 0.3 mm accuracy if one was to have any chance of lifting the mirror and aligning the holes to push over the screw heads. In the end I gave up and fixed a wooden support batten at the base of the mirror and so I only had to align with the apex screw hole, which was therefore not load bearing and only required to be strong enough to stop the mirror tipping forward. Likewise if the mirror base was resting on the floor one could just get away with the apex mounting.
