Hours: Flexible 24 - 32 hours between Monday - Saturday (Saturdays essential 11-2)

Who are we?
Melody Maison is a vibrant, and fast-growing on-line retailer of French and vintage style furniture and home accessories, and we are looking to take on a new Sales assistant into our superstar team to help take us to the next level. The Melody Maison office has a positive, engaging and generous working environment, with a close-knit team, all working together to help reach business targets and goals. Our company is medium in size, and growing every day, but still holds true to a very family-like atmosphere.
What are we looking for?
We are looking at recruiting a new member of staff to join our customer services team. We operate from a large warehouse with offices and showroom in Harworth (near Bawtry), Doncaster. Close to the Blyth A1 junction and with a bus route close by.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed member of staff who can contribute positively to that culture and who wants to develop themselves and help to grow our company, to join our fun friendly team on a part-time basis, working 3/4 days a week (hours to be discussed between 9-5pm monday-Saturday - 24-32 hour week)
Position Summary:
  • Working week - Flexible 24 - 32 hours between Monday - Saturday (Saturdays essential 11-2)
  • 8 hour shift / Day shift
  • Possible start date - ASAP

Main Duties:
  • Working in a busy office environment, speaking to customers, assisting with day to day admin tasks
  • Looking at areas of customer services and helping improve our services through problem solving and fact finding
  • Responding to incoming calls and enquiries by telephone and e-mail in a helpful, timely and professional manner to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Provide support to the rest of the team as and when required.
  • Provide support with general administration tasks
  • B2B & B2C sales assistant tasks
Qualifications & Skills
Desired Qualifications:
  • GCSE Grade 4 or equivalent or above in Maths and English.
Desired Skills:
  • Previous sales experience / sales conversion experience via phone and email.
  • You need to be confident and have the ability to work independently without the need for close supervision. You must be organised and have good attention to detail.
  • Communication skills are vital in this role; successful applicants will be well spoken, with a clear and professional telephone manner and an ability to construct well written correspondence.
  • You must have good time management skills; you must be a punctual person.

  • You must be self-driven, and have an enthusiastic approach to your work with a desire to succeed in Customer Services.
